The Diana Chronicles is a really good book. Although her life has been SO dramatized, scrutinized and publisized – this book still manages to be revealing in a way that makes you think of Diana in a whole new light. Not all good, not all bad, just human. So much in fact that I saw a lot of myself in her choices and mistakes. The arch of maturity as she grew and became stronger was just like any other girl who marries too young.
The timing and unbiased way Tina Brown presents the information, not favoring Diana or Charles or the Queen or the Press makes the story all the more interesting. I really had no idea how long Camilla had been in his life and how much was going on inbetween the lines.
If you have even a slight interest in the Royals or Diana, this will be a good read. It also exposes alot about the royal life style, limitations and backstory.
READ IT!
