These sites are really a phenomenon. To answer your question about if they will last, I think they will because they do change and update with the times. Everyone knows we are in a short attention span society. So keeping things short, sweet and extremely malleable is what I think will keep them in the limelight for a long time.

It may be a fad.. but I think it is more likely that it is the prelude to something even more efficient. Although at some point we are going to overload on the tech and want to get back to the human… I hope. but I do think that twitter will remain in some form.. but there is always another great idea out there and people get bored…

I dont have many followers and I dont follow celebs, just some tennis news and my friends and you. I dont care if other people get tons of followers though. I sometimes think its just a fad, the twitter thing.
